Clean Beauty is largely unregulated in the beauty industry, leaving it up to each brand to determine and define what it means to be clean. Which is why we developed our own definition.
Clean Beauty applies to products that are consciously created without any ingredients that are suspected or determined to be toxic/harmful to the body.
At Bloomeffects our definition of Clean Beauty is ethically-sourced, cruelty free, and created with care for your skin and the environment.

Sustainability
With a heritage in sustainability, we believe in recycling. Our product packaging is primarily made from recycled materials and is 100% recyclable. We consistently strive to find the newest and most sustainable technologies in order to continually lessen our impact on the environment.
Our cartons are FSC approved and made out of 100% recycled materials and are 100% recyclable. We encourage our customers to uphold their responsibility and always recycle both product packaging and cartons.
Our tubes
We use PICEA™ wood tubes made from sawdust from German carpenters. Over 95% of the materials used in our tubes come from renewable resources.
We chose our wooden tubes because they have a carbon footprint that is 40% smaller than conventional plastic tubes. Bloomeffects is the first beauty brand to use PICEA™ in Australia and the U.S.
Due to their natural makeup, our PICEA™ wood tubes may vary in appearance.
Our Jars
We use glass for our jars because glass can be recycled an infinite number of times without breakdown.
Plastic, on the other hand, can only be recycled a certain number of times before it is unusable and ends up in a landfill.
Our Carbon Footprint
Not only do we continuously strive to use recycled and recyclable materials in our packaging, but we also strive to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible. We are constantly on the lookout for new ways to improve our processes and products to lessen our impact on the environment.
We are as passionate about our farmers and the fields that we harvest from as we are about bringing you the best in clean skincare.
Things we are doing to reduce our carbon footprint:
All of our products are produced in our biggest market, the United States. This means less time spent transporting our goods.

We are a low-plastic brand, meaning we use as little plastic as possible. Plastic can only be recycled a certain number of times before it has to go to a landfill.

Our jars are made of glass because glass can be recycled an unlimited number of times. Our tubes are made from recycled sawdust.

Why go Dutch?
We work with Dutch farmers because they lead the world’s best farming practices with their national commitment to sustainable agriculture. “Twice as much food using half as many resources.”
They have almost completely eliminated the use of chemical pesticides in greenhouses. The tulips from our fields are only grown with organic pesticides.
Dutch farmers have reduced dependence on water for key crops by as much as 90%.
